Raid 2 Box Office Collection: Crosses ₹80 Crore Despite Monday Dip
The Raid 2 box office collection crossed the ₹80 crore mark within five days of release. Although the film saw a strong weekend run, its earnings dropped sharply on the first Monday, raising questions about whether it can maintain momentum.
Day-Wise Performance of Raid 2
Director Raj Kumar Gupta delivered a strong start with ₹19.25 crore on opening day. The film earned ₹18 crore on Saturday and jumped to ₹22 crore on Sunday — the highest single-day total so far.
However, collections fell sharply on Monday. The film managed only ₹7.75 crore, its first single-digit day. The total now stands at ₹79 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Weekend Collection Compared to Other Films
Raid 2 performed better than recent releases like Kesari 2, Jaat, and Sikandar. It maintained double-digit figures through the weekend. The Friday collection of ₹12 crore helped balance the week.
Will Raid 2 Enter the ₹100 Crore Club?
The big question now is whether Raid 2 can reach ₹100 crore. The film will face new competition this Friday from Bhool Chuk Maaf, a romantic comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi.
Ajay Devgn has seen major success with sequels. His 2022 hit Drishyam 2 grossed ₹239.67 crore. Upcoming films Son of Sardar 2 and De De Pyaar De 2 aim to continue that trend.
Plot, Cast, and Key Details
In Raid 2, Ajay Devgn returns as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. He fights corruption again, this time against a powerful politician, played by Riteish Deshmukh.
The film introduces Vaani Kapoor as Devgn’s wife. The cast also includes Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Saurabh Shukla. The movie builds on the real-life 1980s income tax raids.
Raid 2 comes from T-Series and Panorama Studios, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. It hit theatres on May 1, 2025.
