Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana: 11th Installment Date, Eligibility & Status

The Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, a Maharashtra state initiative, provides a monthly Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of ₹1,500 to eligible women. Launched in July 2024, this welfare scheme continues to support women financially, especially those without stable family support.

As of April 2025, 10 installments have already been transferred under the scheme. The 11th installment is expected to be credited by the end of May 2025. Women who have recently applied and whose applications are approved will receive their first installment this month.

Possible Increase in Assistance

Prior to the Maharashtra state elections, the government had proposed raising the monthly payout from ₹1,500 to ₹2,100. However, this increase has not been officially confirmed as of May 2025. Despite this, there is strong speculation that the announcement will be made soon. If confirmed, the revised payout will significantly boost the financial assistance for all current recipients. Meanwhile, eligible women will continue to receive ₹1,500 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer.

Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be a woman aged between 21 and 55 years.
  • Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
  • Should be married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, separated, dependent, or unmarried (in families without an adult male).
  • The annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakh, backed by a government-issued income certificate.
  • Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT.

Disqualification Criteria:

  • Any family member pays income tax.
  • Any family member is a government employee or receives a government pension.
  • The family owns a four-wheeler (except a tractor).
  • If another woman in the family is already a beneficiary of this scheme.

How to Apply for Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

Follow these steps to apply online:

  1. Visit the official portal: https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in
  2. Click on ‘अर्जदार लॉगिन’ in the top menu.
  3. Select ‘Create Account’ to register.
  4. Enter your name, mobile number, password, district, taluka, village, municipal details, and click Signup.
  5. Log in using your mobile number and password.
  6. Choose ‘Application of Mukhyamantri – Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’.
  7. Enter your Aadhaar number to validate.
  8. Fill in the application with your personal details, bank account number, address, etc.
  9. Upload required documents:
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Income Certificate
    • Bank Passbook
    • Passport-sized Photo
    • Self-Declaration Form
  10. Review all details and submit the form.
  11. You will receive an Application ID via SMS for tracking.

How to Check Application Status

Applicants can check the status of their submission through the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. Click on ‘अर्जदार लॉगिन’.
  3. Log in with your mobile number, password, and CAPTCHA.
  4. Click on ‘Application Status’.
  5. Enter your Application ID and click Submit.

You will then see whether your application is approved, pending, or rejected.
