As per reports, PM Modi’s aircraft flew through Pakistani airspace for around 46 minutes while en route to Paris. The flight entered Pakistan’s airspace near Lahore, maintaining an altitude of 34,000 feet, and passed over key Pakistani cities, including Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Chakwal, and Kohat.

Why Did PM Modi’s Flight Use Pakistan’s Airspace?

Previous Instances of Using Pakistani Airspace
This is not the first time PM Modi’s aircraft has used Pakistani airspace. In August last year, his return flight from Poland to Delhi also spent 46 minutes over Pakistan.

📌 Pakistan’s Airspace Restrictions
Pakistan had previously closed its airspace to Indian flights after the Balakot airstrike on February 26, 2019. Islamabad even denied permission for PM Modi’s flight to use its airspace for a trip to Germany that same year.
