Chennai recently witnessed the unveiling of Kia’s latest compact SUV, the Syros, offering a sneak peek into the cutting-edge features that redefine comfort, convenience, and connectivity. From a panoramic sunroof to wireless charging and stolen vehicle tracking to front ventilated seats, the Syros aims to set new benchmarks in the compact SUV segment.
R. Arunkumar, Chief Executive Officer of VST Central Kia, an authorized KIA Cars India dealer, described the Syros as a next-generation vehicle with over 80 connected features. Highlighting the standout offerings, he said, “One of the key features in this segment is the panoramic sunroof, which we believe will be a major draw for customers.” Arunkumar also noted Kia’s strong market presence, with a 10% share in Chennai and an 8% share nationally.
Adding to this, Magesh N., Assistant General Manager of VST Central Kia, shared insights into the compact SUV market. “Compact SUVs have grown by 17% in 2024, and with the Syros, we aim to boost Kia’s market contribution to 20%. This vehicle has been developed to align with the aspirations of today’s modern customers,” he said.
